The annual Showdown Parade this year will be kicking off a very important year for the Grande Prairie Stompede.
Stompede is celebrating its 41ST year and what better way to get the week going then with a parade down the heart of the city.

The breakfast will be served outside of the New Horizon Co-op on 100th Avenue from 7-10 am and is by donation. All funds raised will go to the Grande Prairie Chuckwagon Heritage Foundation, a not-for-profit group that works towards promoting the preservation of Alberta’s number one sport: professional chuckwagon racing. Join us for a delicious pancake breakfast, grab your morning coffee and win prizes before heading out to the rodeo!
