MISS GRANDE PRAIRIE STOMPEDE
On May 29, 2010 Samantha Callioux was crowned the Miss Grande Prairie Stompede during the Saturday performance at the 32rd annual rodeo.”I look forward to representing such a great community and rodeo. I hope to meet many more great people and leave a lasting impression as Miss Grande Prairie Stompede 2010. My goal is to get out there and life to the fullest!”
22 year old Samantha is daughter to Charlene and Robin Callioux and has two brothers. Sam credits her winning the title of Miss Grande Prairie Stompede to the tremendous love and support that her family and friends have given to her throughout the week long competition. Continuing her education Samantha has currently finished her diploma in business administration at Lakeland College and is continuing on with her studies in the field of equine body worker with the goal of continuing to raise and promote quality registered quarter horses.
Proud to call Wildwood, Alberta her home for the past 14 years Samantha loves the closeness that people have when living in a small town. “Being crowned Miss Grande Prairie Stompede never seemed possible to me. Being from a small community such as Wildwood it just goes to show that it does not matter where you are from. As long as you are true to yourself great things can happen!”
